Write a short story about what confuses you about Western culture.

Yesterday it was good because I was free and my American roommate free too. So we planded to buy something for cooking. We went to a lot of store or market then we planned to buy something for making burger and tacos. I ask him to teach me that. We made tacos yesterday and that was delicious and good experience. But, there’s one thing I can’t understand because when we walking down to the road, that was so awkward because we don’t have any conversation. I tried to make conversations but always just short and stop and silence. That makes me feel so uncomfortable. Another one, that I hate is some foreigners they don’t reply me on message or we chat. It happens a lot maybe they’re forgot or they don’t know how to answer me. Don’t reply me I feel is so impolite and because in Chinese culture if you don’t reply the message that’s rude. So, that’s what I very confusing about. I wish maybe I think if you know each other means you have a destiny. If you like this person, you should be more closer or warmer to each other.

Another thing that I hate is when some foreigners don’t reply to my we chat messages.

It happens a lot, maybe they forgot or they don’t know what to say./how to answer me.

I feel it’s so impolite if they don’t reply because in Chinese culture if you don’t reply to the message or to somebody, that’s rude. So, that’s what I’m very confused about. I think if you don’t dislike a person, you should be closer or warmer to each other.
