Edit:

About one month ago, I started taking a baking class / course.  During the last few weeks, I learned a lot of things and I learned how to make a lot of things, such as egg custard tart, puff pastry, lemon chifon cake, bacon and mayonnaise bread, curry triangle, chocolate cheese cake and many others. Out of all the things I learned to bake, I love the egg tart the most, because it tastes very good and it melts in your mouth. The lemon chifon cake feels very soft, like a sponge. There are 20 students in my class. We bake together and we have a great time every time we meet.

It’s better to look at a bus than to look like a bus.

I love my mother very much, because she cooks good food and she gives me good advice.

to hang out = to spend time

to hang out with someone = to spend time with someone

E.g.

I never hang out with my colleagues after work, because I have to go home to look after my baby.

Pastry is the dough from which some baked products are made. Pastry dough is rolled out thinly and used as a base for baked products. It is made from ingredients such as flour, sugar, milk, butter, shortening, baking powder, and/or eggs. Common pastry dishes include pies, tarts, quiches and pasties.

Pastry is also the name given to various kinds of baked products. Small cakes, tarts and other sweet or savoury baked products are called “pastries.”
sweet vs savory (salty)

quiche = 乳蛋饼
