Several (adj): 1- more than two, but not many.
E.g.: I’ve been teaching English for several years.

Rehearse (v): 1- to practice something before a real performance.
E.g.: Before her VMA performance, Beyoncé rehearsed everyday for several weeks.

Audition (n): 1- an interview for a role or job as a singer, actor, dancer, or musician, consisting of a practical demonstration of the candidate’s suitability and skill.
E.g.: Yesterday I saw a really funny video of a terrible audition for the X Factor.

Cast (n): 1- the people who are in a movie, play, etc.
E.g.: Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are the main actors in the cast of Titanic.

Casting (n): 1- an audition where actors or models are chosen to play the various roles in a theatrical production, motion picture, fashion show, etc.
E.g.: He went to several castings that day, but was not cast for any jobs.
