In chapter 17 and 18 the Indian man learned Sara is the girl he was looking for and he sternly talked to Ms. Minchin with a serious, straight face. Ms. Minchin realized maybe she will be punished by him/this man.

What do you think will happen in the next chapters?

I think maybe the India guy will put Ms. Minchin to the police officer. Ms. Minchin is very rude to a children whatever she is rich or not. I hope Ms. Minchin realize her fault because she treated Sara on that way is not good. Children should be protected and they should grown up smoothly.

I think maybe the man/Captain’s Crewe’s best friend/ the captain’s friend will bring Ms. Minchin to the police (station). Ms. Minchin is very rude to children no matter if/even if she is rich or not/poor. I hope Ms. Minchin realized her faults because she treated Sara poorly/like dirt. Children should be protected and they should have a nice, happy childhood.

How does Sara’s story compare to your story?

When Sara’s father was alive her childhood is quite similar with mine. Her parents loved her very much and my parents loved my very much. Although my parents are not as rich as her, my parents gave all things what they can and educated me what’s the right thing and how to be a good person. But, when Sara’s father died, she was charged/adopted by Ms. Minchin, the woman only cared about money but Sara was a penniless girl, so she was treated as a maid and she was always hungry and tired and no education. As a woman, I thought Ms. Minchin is not good because maybe she will be a mother in future, how did she educate her child? And as a person she should be nice to all people even a maid or a poor child. Maid is also a job they earn money from their power…. they did their job and earn their money so they should also be respected.

As a woman, I thought Ms. Minchin is terrible/horrible/evil because maybe she will be a mother in the future, how will she educate her child? And as a person she should be nice to all people even maids or poor children.

Being a maid is also a job. They earn money from their work. They do their jobs and earn their money so they should also be respected.

Think of these questions when speaking or telling a story:

What would you do if you were Sara/Ms. Minchin/the Indian man?

Do you know any other stories that are similar with A Little Princess? Compare and contrast the two stories.
