mute/ muting / muted / will mute – to make sth silent
eg. In wechat you can mute notifications so that way you don’t hear unimportant messages.
eg. Sometimes if you don’t mute a wechat group maybe the ringtone will bother you.
make-up / makeup n. – cosmetics you put on your face
eg. I wear makeup everyday.
addicted to (-tid) adj. – to extremely love sth
eg. addicted to doing sth = I am addicted to drinking coffee every morning, I need it every day!
eg. addicted to sth = Some people are addicted to drugs.
Phrasal Verbs
End up (v): 1- to finally be in a particular place or situation.
E.g.: She’ll end up penniless if she continues to spend like that.
eg. If a girl she is very like to do surgery maybe in the future she will end up ugly. – If a girl is addicted to surgery maybe in the future she will end up ugly.
eg. Harmony is addicted to getting tattoos, she will end up covered in tattoos.
make up – when you needed to do sth, but you missed it or didn’t do it, you need to do it
eg. Celeste missed 2 days from work because she was sick. She needs to make up those days.
eg. Sherry missed a test because she was busy. She will make up the test next week.
eg. My manager forgot to do my annual review, he needs to make it up.
eg. I missed my class, I need to make it up.
eg. Sherry missed a presentation, she needs to make it up.
