When I was younger, I was not allowed to wear/to use/to put on make-up.

make-up – not countable, uncountable

cosmetics

eg. I don’t wear any cosmetics/make-up.

make sth up – catch up, do sth you missed

eg. I missed an exam at school because I was sick. I need to make it up.

I hope I have the opportunity to do/give a professional presentation of our company and products for our US customers at the US trade show.

What is your favorite holiday?

I worked at Danish company named Jooi design is danish company that specialized in contemporary fashion accessories and home decor. Every christmas my former boss will arrange Christmas party for us at the company. Normally she prepare delicious chocolate cake and special Danish wine and danish croissants and different types of chocolates and candy. We thank you each other and exchange gifts each other. Of course, my boss will give us hongbao for everyone. The gifts must be made by ourselves, just creative gifts. At last we had a lucky draw, awards is amazing, you know? The cosmetics or expensive not iphones like similar, electric products. Everyone enjoyed that moment at that day.

Of course, my boss would give/gave us hongbao. / Of course, my boss prepared hongbao for everyone. The gifts must be made by ourselves, we called  them “creative” gifts. / The gifts must be made by hand. / The gifts must be handmade.  At last we had a lucky draw, the awards were amazing, you know? They included cosmetics or electronic devices/products. Everyone enjoyed that moment on that day.
