E.g.
Lasagna is among my top five favorite foods.
The dog started to cross the street among the cars and the pedestrians.
PED XING = pedestrian crossing
Among the many cool things that Thomas did were horse riding, white waterrafting and wingsuit flying.
When he was in school, James stood out among his colleagues as a very disciplined and conscientious student.
disciplined = someone who follows a certain set of rules or standards
conscientious = 不苟
to discipline = to punish, to correct
