E.g. I broke my glasses. My glasses broke.

My car broke down yesterday. I have not fixed it yet. Now it is broken. (it doesn’t work)
My car has broken down many time times before.
The house had five windows. Two of them were broken.
It is now 2016.
My glasses broke in 2015.
I had gotten them in 2012.
I had gotten them in 2012 to 2015.
When my glasses broke in 2015, I had had them for three years.
When my glasses broke in 2015, I had worn them for three years.
I had Lasik in 2015. I had worn glasses for many years before that.

Reasons to get Lasik
- If I get Lasik, I won’t have to wear glasses.
- To fix my vision.
Reasons to not get Lasik
1. Risk of going blind
2. Do not put lasers in my eyes!
3. Too expensive.
I saw this movie and I swore that I would never get eye surgery.
Not too much money, but not too little – It’s not exactly cheap, but it’s not very expensive, either.
It’s not expensive enough!
