Vocabulary

A while (n): 1- for some time.
E.g.: I only stayed for a short while.

Specify (v): 1- to explain or describe something clearly and exactly.
E.g.: He said we should meet but didn’t specify a time.

Combine (v): 1- to (cause to) exist together, or join together to make a single thing or group:
E.g.: None of us has much money so let’s combine what we’ve got.

Conference (n): 1- an event, sometimes lasting a few days, at which there is a group of talks on a particular subject. 2- a meeting in which especially business matters are discussed formally.
E.g.: They frequently hold conferences at that hotel.

Reference (n): 1- a mention of something.
E.g.: He made several references to his time in France.

Mindset (n): 1- a person’s way of thinking and their opinions.
E.g.: It’s extraordinary how hard it is to change the mindset of the public and the press.
