My Grandmother’s Birthday

My grandmother who is my waipo who is my mom’s mom, her birthday was during Chinese New Year. Her birthday is on January 11th. My whole family celebrated with her this year. My dad bought her a strawberry, peach and chocolate cake almost as big as the world. Actually, it was bigger than my head. 

My grandmother turned 64 years old.  I only put 10 candles on the cake because we only had 10 and 6 plus 4 is 10.

 The guest of honour loved her cake. At her party at my house, my dad gave her all the presents from my family. However, my grandfather didn’t give her a present because he didn’t go to the party. But she was still happy because the most important thing to her was spending time with me.
