Vocabulary

partition/s or room divider/s – pieces of wood used to separate rooms

eg. The restaurant used partitions to separate our party from the other restaurant guests.

party:

  1. noun: celebration – We had a birthday party for my son at a restaurant.
  2. noun: a group of people – How many people are in your party? There are 50 people in our party.
  3. verb: to celebrate – I want to party! It’s Friday!

payday n. – the day your company gives you money monthly

eg.When is payday?

eg. I want to party because today was payday! I have a lot of money to spend!

eg. What gift are  do you want to buy it? Today is my payday!

fan / AC = Air Conditioner

air purifier ( pyer – if – fyer ) – machine or device to clean the air from pollutants

stepmother – father’s second (or third…) wife

stepsister – a sister related by marriage, not blood

sister-in-law: wife or husband’s sister

widely publicized – when the public learns or knows about sth that usually should be private
