My Grandmother’s Birthday

My grandmother who is my waipo who is my mom’s mom, her birthday was during Chinese New Year. Her birthday is on January 11th. My whole family celebrated with her this year. My dad bought her a strawberry, peach and chocolate cake almost as big as the world. Actually, it was bigger than my head. I put 10 candles on the cake because we only had 10. The guest of honour loved her cake. My grandmother turned 64 years old. At her party at my house, my dad gave her all the presents from my family. However, my grandfather didn’t give her a present because he didn’t know it was her birthday. But she was still happy because the most important thing to her was spending time with her loved ones.
