detect / detecting / detected / will detect – to find sth hidden

E.g.: Some sounds cannot be detected by the human ear.

eg. She detected a mosquito bite on her leg.

eg. She tried to detect her car problem.

eg. She detected a lump in her breast.

eg. I detected a small lump in my neck.

breast/s- E.g.: When a woman becomes pregnant her breasts tend to grow larger.

eg. I have a big left breast.

eg. Most women have one breast that is bigger than the other.

eg. My right breast is larger than my left one.

Bandage (ban – dij ) (n): 1-  a long, narrow piece of cloth that is tied around an injury or a part of someone’s body that has been hurt. 2- 绷带

E.g.: The doctor advised me to change the bandages everyday.

eg. Celeste has a bandage on her pinky toe because of her new shoes.

eg. My pinky finger is cut, I need a bandage. If my finger is broken, I need a cast.

eg. Bandages are for cuts or medium pain, casts are for broken bones.

Research (n): 1- a detailed study of a subject, especially in order to discover (new) information or reach a (new) understanding. 2- 研究
E.g.:  They are doing an interesting research about the language of animals.

eg. I need to do research for my school project about Chinese History.

eg. Michel really likes to do research about how to cook delicious dishes.

Accurate ( ak – kyur – it )  (adj): 1- correct, exact, and without any mistakes.
E.g.: This translation is not very accurate.

eg.The research Suzy found about yoga history was accurate.

eg. Dictionaries and encyclopedias are accurate, the internet is not always accurate.

Recognize / recognizing / recognized / will recognise (v): 1-  to know someone or something because you have seen or heard him or her or experienced it before.
E.g.:  I hadn’t seen her for 20 years, but I recognized her immediately.

eg. I heard a woman’s voice on the TV and a recognised that it was my mom!

eg. I heard someone’s foot steps behind me and I recognized that it was my friend.
