stealing
pickpocketing – to steal something without being noticed
eg. I had my wallet pickpocketed

a pickpocket – the person

to mug– to rob someone using physical violence or threats
eg. he was mugged at night

cyber crime– crimes committed online
eg. cyber crime is becoming more common these days

scam – a trick to gain money
eg. i was scammed online

high level corruption < > low level corruption–

to bribe – usually money exchanged for preferential treatment
eg. he bribed the police

to pay a fine – official payment for an offence
eg. he paid a fine because he bribed someone
