Last week end I went to Shengnongjia with my family. It is a forest area located near Hubei Yichang. We rent a car at Yicang and then took four hours to drive there. The weather in Shengnongjia was extremely cold and the zigzag mountain roads made me feel sick. Even so the scenes was really fantastic. We saw different trees at different places. Trees covered by snow and icy looked really beautiful. When we tried to climb one of the mountain, the road was blocked due to heavy snow. My husband insisted to clim to top while I took my son waiting for him in the car because it was dangerous to climb the icy steps in the heavy snow and wind. We also saw a special kind of monkey there and tried some local nuts and fruits. It was was a nice trip. If we could have more spare time, I would like to stay there longer to visit more around.
