I like reading as it can bring you to the different places and can met different people in the stories.
The favorite book I’ve read is ALIVE, wrote by YUHUA, a very famous writer in China. The book tells a story about the whole life of a person whose name was FUGUI born in the beginning of the found of new china. FUGUI was born into a wealthy family and his father had a lot of lands, so he needn’t do any work and was addicted in gambling all days, he didn’t have any change even when he was married. And in the end he lost all the property and was seized to the military service on the way to send for a doctor while his mother got sick. Years later when he back, he learned that his mother passed away and his son and daughter grown up with his wife who afford all the burden of the whole family. Even worse, his daughter became a dump person in the time he was leaving. It seems that they would get better eventually as FUGUI was back and could afford the family together, but unfortunately a series of miserable things just happened on them. At first his wife got a heavy sick which couldn’t get hard work, then his son died in an accident for over donating blood to the wife of the country magistrate, after that, his daughter married with a good guy but also died during of giving birth to a child, behind all of this,his wife, the husband of his daughter, and his little grandson all left him one by one.
In the end of the story, there was only an old cow accompany with FUGUI, the memories, and.
