I have a habit that as long as I go out, I must bring my earphone with me. Especially when I am alone outside, I’d like to wear it all the time. Even though there’re a few times that my phone was running out of power, I still wore the earphone, pretending that I was listening to the music.
I think a majority of people have the same habit as I do, and I don’t really believe that all of them just want to enjoy music. On the contrary, I consider it as a way to isolate ourselves from the crowds. For me, I always feel insecure around strangers, even a slightly peek from the other people can totally make me uncomfortable. Plus once I wear my earphone, I can easily keep myself from those annoying pick-ups or advertising guys by pretending not to hear them just like the same as men like to glance at hot girls with sunglasses.
I even made myself a totally fool one time due to this habit. As I mentioned previously that I would wear my earphone while my phone died. That time I wasn’t even aware that my earphone hadn’t been connected to my phone until I see my reflection from a metro door. And before that, I kept walking around like I’m a super model on streets with the earphone line drifting in the air, which can be one of the most stupid things that I’ve ever did by then.

I have a habit of always bringing my earphones with me wherever I go. Especially when I am alone outside, I like to wear them all the time. Even a few times when my phone runs out of power, I still wear the earphones, pretending that I’m listening to music.
I think a majority of people have the same habit, and I don’t really believe that all of them just want to enjoy music. On the contrary, I consider it a way to isolate ourselves from the crowds. For me, I always feel insecure around strangers and even a slightly peek from other people can totally make me uncomfortable. Plus, once I wear my earphones, I can easily keep myself from those annoying pick-ups or advertising guys by pretending not to hear them, just like men who like to glance at hot girls while wearing sunglasses.
I even made a total fool of myself one time due to this habit. I was wearing my earphones even though my phone had died, which, as I mentioned before, is something I often do. So it happens that on that specific occasion the earphones weren’t even connected to my phone, and I wasn’t aware of it until I saw my reflection on a metro door. Before that, I kept walking around the streets like I was a super model, with the earphone cord dangling in the air, which might have been one of the most stupid things that I had ever did by then.
