If you could live in any city but Shanghai and your hometown, where would you want to live and why?

When I saw this topic, Chengdu came into my mind first. because I have heard people said ā€˜ Chengdu is a city which you never want to leaveā€™. Since I have never been there, I did some search on line. Chengdu located at the mid-china which is a good place. It has good medical condition, so it livable for both old people and young people.
Itā€™s a historical and touristic city. So there are many historical places and scenic places. There also have many delicious food, like hot pot which is my favorite. So if I live there, Iā€™ll have many interesting things to do and will not feel bored.
Actually, every city has it’s advantage to live. I care more about the people in the city. In my opinion, if the people who live there are friendly and happy, then it is a livable city.
