My hometown is Nantong, which is a coastal city, acorss the Changjiang River from Shanghai. I spent my childhood and most of my school life there, and It was full of happiness.

When I was in primary school, I remember that I always went home together with my class mates, and played games with my friends who lived nearby. We climbed up to the hills and collected tiny colorful wildflowers and different shapes small stones after school. We also liked to “play house” together, and I liked to play the characters who have magic,and I had a lovely magic stick which was made by my self. The most great thing is that we didn’t have so much homework as my daughters’, therefore I can did the interesting things which I prefer. However, when I was a child, I have never been to the children‘s park like Disney Land, even never heard about them. That is why many parents just like me prefer to go there with their children today. We are all big kids at heart.

When I was in primary school, I remember that I always went home / returned home together with my classmates and played games with my friends who lived nearby. We climbed up to the hills** and collected tiny colorful wildflowers and differently–shaped small stones after school. We also liked to “play house” together, and I liked to play the magical characters who have magic, and I had a lovely magic stick / wand which was I made by myself. The most greatest thing was that we didn’t have so as much homework as my daughter does. Therefore I could do / had time to do the interesting things which I preferred. However, when I was a child, I had never been to the a children‘s / theme park like Disney Land– we had never even never heard about of them / of such places. That is why many parents just like me prefer are happy / excited to go there with their children today. We are all big kids at heart.
