We will be much more relying on online grocery in 2020.
It’s been 3 weeks since Coronavirus, the Wuhan epidemic broke out. It has spread to 32 provinces in China and other 6 countries, contributed more than 500 death tolls. Because of it, we have been grounded for 2 weeks during CNY, the most important festival in china; work has been postponed; restaurants & Markets has been shut down. For elder people, it has been a disaster. As they have a habit to go to the market every morning to prepare all the fresh vegetables and meat they need for the family meals. Even though the market is full of dirt, bad smell which provides the living conditions for germs and virus. Considering the situation, we don’t have a choice other than shopping on O2O platform. The vegetables in Hema can be sold out at 0:00 am, we need to reserve vegetables one day before on dingdong grocery. We also don’t know how long the disease will last, but for sure it’s a good opportunity to educate people to shop in online grocery store. in the 2020, we must admit we are much more relying on online once again.

For elderly people, it has been a disaster, as they have the habit of going to the market every morning to prepare all the fresh vegetables and meat they need for their family meals. Even though the market is full of dirt, bad smells which provides the living / perfect conditions for germs and viruses. Considering the situation, we don’t have a choice other than shopping on O2O platforms. The Vegetables in Hema are often sold out at 0:00 am / midnight, so we need to reserve vegetables one day before on dingdong grocery. We also don’t know how long the disease will last, but for sure it’s a good opportunity to educate people to shop on online grocery stores. In the 2020, we must admit we are much more reliant on online / on the internet once again.
