At this moment, I think we are quite aligned on the fact that Mini Program is a very important battle field in WeChat eco-system. It’s not only because Tencent is giving significant importance to MP, but also MP is an important platform for branding and social CRM.
Therefore, we have built our B2C MP in the hope of building brand image and creating direct sales with our end consumers. However, the role of this MP is more like a selling platform, requiring capabilities like sales operation and infrastructure development. We have to admit that we got lots of pressure and complaints from sales and channels. So we are thinking how about repositioning our MP as a brand tribe. We keep selling products, but the products can be differentiated from channels. Importantly, we are operating this brand tribe more than just selling products. We are tagging & segmenting our consumers to better support tailor made marketing campaigns. We also recruit members, and engage, retain with them on this platform. Last but not least, we can provide value added tribe services to them. All the things I mentioned above will be supported by back-end social CRM system.
