The most popular island is Naoshima. It is known for a pumpkin by the sea. The Artist is Yayoi Kusama, who became famous all over the world for her dot paintings. So, everything on the island such as bus, ships, maps, are full of pumpkins and dot patterns. You could rent a bicycle, riding around the island, and stop at each exhibition or artist work. During the art festival, tourists can buy a passport as their entrance ticket, collecting stamps after they visit a specified place.
On the islands, you don’t have to rush into anything. You can see the sunrise and sunset on the beach, hear the music of birds and take a nap under a huge tree. At night, the islands become silence. The only light comes from the moon. You could live in a beautiful hotel next to the museum. All the experience today may go into your dream.
These islands just like another world, you can take your time to feel everything. SetoNaikai Inland for me is not only a place where I can see the art pieces, but also a secret base where I can relax, feel close to the nature, and also seek myself.
