I was also awed by/ in awe at the azure sky. Thanks to the high altitude, I felt as if the sky were just over my head and once I extended / stretched out my arm, I were able to grab a cloud! Seeing this, I thought of a Chinese ballad, “天苍苍,野茫茫。风吹草低见牛羊” (Under the blue sky, the field extends. With the gentle wind, the grass billows and then the cows and sheep emerge.)

I also visited many other places like Lijiang, where a lot of newlyweds were taking their wedding photos; Kunming, the capital of Yunnan. But I didn’t took many pictures, so some memories have faded. Maybe someday I will go there again. Thinking about it, I cannot wait to pack my bag!

I was also awed by/ in awe at (in awe at is more natural & common) the azure sky.
