I had a hour-long meeting with the CEO. The previous interactions between me and him were quite happy, and thanks to that, in that meeting, he was opening to me. That’s how I knew their plan: to shift budget from Google to TikTok. Having learned the fact, I told him that Google’s display networks also work well in China. I then listed quite a few partners like豆瓣. Many of them are Internet giants with huge amounts of traffic.
The marketing campaign performs well and client saw a great amount of increased traffic.
Trust is the key. If the CEO didn’t trust me, he would never let me know that he was shifting budget to TikTok. Thus, daily communications between us and clients really matter in terms of trust building!
To give clients solid reasons why they should stay with us.
