One night, when I worked as a receptionist in the hotel, a foreigner who was came from Qinghua University showed up at the reception to check in. He told me he would stay one night and check out tomorrow after 6 pm. I explained to him that if he wish to check out after 6 pm, one night room charge would be collected by the hotel. In the middle of the night, I was really tired for my night shift and I sat down on the sofa to catch a break. On the second day, my manager told me the customer denied to pay the one night room charge because he insisted I did not inform him about it. And he complained to me that I fell asleep on the sofa during the working time. At last, he just paid half day of the room charge. It made me deeply impressed that the customer is God and no one can stand up to.

You mean he complained to you or about you? Did he tell you manager you fell asleep or tell you?
