Xiaolongbao

Xiaolongbao is my favorite food, also, it is a typical food of shanghai.

It is a type of steamed bun (baozi).

It is traditionally prepared in Xiaolong, small bamboo steaming baskets, which give them their name.

Xiaolongbao are traditionally filled with pork by flour skin and there is special hot soup in it. So you cannot be too careful when you eat it.

You should bite a little and take a sip of the soup first, dip it into vinegar and taste it.

Nowadays, there are a lot of innovative style of xiaolongbao appearing. Except for traditional pork and minced crab, shrink, vegetables styles are created by cookers.

As the innovation of food, our city and culture are also keeping developing. We blend traditional and modern things to create new things, which help our city keep vigorous and competitiveness.

Nowadays, there are a lot of innovative styles of xiaolongbao appearing. Except for traditional pork and minced crab, shrimp, and vegetables styles other styles or fillings are being created by cooks and chefs.
