During the national holiday, I went to Singapore and Malaysia. I flied and came back at the KL airport since the round trip ticket would be much cheaper than the others. When I arrived at KL, I transferred to Singapore and spent 3 days at there. I am fond of Singapore since the city is highly-developed and clean. The cost of living is just a little bit higher than Shanghai by 10-20%. However, it is totally different with my original ideas since lots of my friends who have visited Singapore before and they told me Singapore was very expensive.
The next stop of our trip was Malacca which is located in the south of Malaysia. The main purpose for this trip was to attend my friend’s wedding. My friend’s husband is also Chinese people living in Malaysia from his grandparents stage. So the main wedding custom is similar to China and is very traditional.
However, the old town is one of the world culture heritage which is an important location in the old ancient connecting the west and east. All the trade ships had to be through there to do the business.
We stayed 3 days at there and then took the bus to KL. We didn’t have any plan for KL and didn’t have must seen places at there. We just had a relax.
Although it is not very hot these days in South Asia, the sunshine is still very strong and we can be burnt easily. So I need to keep putting/applying sun scream on my body.
