Traveling dairy entry Oct.5 @LA

Now is LA time 02:52 in the morning and I can’t sleepless any more, so I decide to write down a series of traveling dairy entry to remark our family’s first US trip in the next 13 days. This time our family are traveling together with my cousin’s family

In the last 24 hours, there were a lot of things happened and the lucky thing was we figured them out finally.

First, we had been stuck when we were ready to check in in the Pudong Airport. The crew told us that my uncle’s EVUS was with a enrolled status which means he was not been approved to go to US . She also told me that due to my uncle renewed his passport this year and applied EVUS on line last year so he must have to update his new passport info in the EVUS system, which was really tough to help him applied it on line in such a short time.

We almost spent one and a half hours on it and my original plan had been upset by this “accident”.

After around 11 hours flight we arrived in LAX Airport, through the complex US customs & security in the 5 PM but the local tour told us that we still had to wait 3 or 4 hours for the shuttle bus which really annoying me.

Anyway, now I am in the bed of the hotel and looking forward the day’s coming. I think everything gonna be great.

Travel dairy entry Oct.5 in LA

Now it is LA time 02:52 in the morning and I can’t sleep anymore, so I decided to write down a series of traveling dairy entries to remark my family’s first US trip over the next 13 days. This time my family is traveling together with my cousin’s family.

In the last 24 hours, there were a lot of things that happened and luckily we figured them out finally.

First, we got(had been) stuck when we were ready to check in at Pudong Airport. The crew told us that my uncle’s EVUS had an enrolled status which meant he was not approved to go to US. She also told me that due to my uncle‘s passport renewal this year and applied EVUS online last year, he must update his new passport info in the EVUS system, which was really tough to help him apply for it online in such a short time.

We almost spent one and a half hours on it and my original plan had been upset by this “accident”.

After our 11-hour flight we arrived at LAX Airport, went through the complex US Customs & security at around 5 PM, the local tour guide told us that we still had to wait 3 or 4 hours for the shuttle bus which really annoyed me.

Anyway, now I am in bed at the hotel and looking forward to tomorrow/to the following days. I think everything is gonna be great.
