helicopter parents
– Hi, Vicky, what’s up? You seem unhappy.
– JIm’s son got busted this morning for fighting with his teacher and Jim had me to deal with this situation for he’s on biz trip today.
– What? That mother’s boy.
– Yes, it’s him. His parents always take care of everything of this boy, the apple of their eyes. You see, what’s good is being helicopter parents?
– Why do you have to be involved in Jim’s personal issue?
– He said you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours. He’s my boss. Talk about you. How are you?
– Same old same old.
