a man who influenced me most

I want to introduce Mr. Yido to you, who is a chief of a Japanese Ramen restaurant where I used to work in as a part time job.

I was surprised that he made every ingredients by himself, not only meats, vegetables, and soup, but the spicy sauce. he strictly control the time of boiling noodles. he always told me that Ramen is not just a business, but an art. We should pour all of our passion and craft into it. I think that’s what we call “artisan”.

Mr Yido is also a kind man. He invented me to have a drink after work every day. He told me he was a white collar, but he wanted to chase his dream rather than doing routine work every day. So he started up his own business and he would bend his back to achieve his dream.

I learned the “artisan spirit” and “if you have a dream, just do it” from him, which influenced me a lot.
