A short story about my son. Last week I took my son to Nanjing, Because he will going to kindergarten in 1st July, and then he will have no time to go to grandmother’s home in Nanjing for the coming months. In the before, My parents and I made a deal that is when my son in Nanjing we can’t face to face on wechat, because my son through the phone screen to saw me he will crying.
Yesterday at 10 PM, my mother called me face to face on wechat. I thought my son must be got asleep and my mother must had something want to told me. When I opened our wechat window, my son’s face came out. “baby, why you are not sleeping, it’s too late”I said. My son didn’t say anything. I saw him two eyes filled with tears. My mother said” he miss you and want to face to face . He will going to asleep until he saw you”. My son asked me “mom where are you ?”Suddenly my heart is being soft ，I want give him a hug immediately. I saw his little face, He didn’t want me see he was crying, he wiped his tears away. when I told him I will go to Nanjing and take him back to Shanghai this weekend. He nodded and lay down on the bed …
Many times I think the baby is too young they must didn’t has many emotions. I was wrong, they can feel us, they can’t leave their parents.

A short story about my son

Last week I took my son to Nanjing because he will go to kindergarten on the 1st of July / on July 1st, so he will have no time to go to his grandmother’s home in Nanjing for the following months. Before, My parents and I made a deal that when my son is in Nanjing we can’t video call on wechat because my son will cry when he sees me.
Yesterday at 10 PM, my mother video called me on wechat. I thought my son must be asleep and my mother must have something she wants to tell me. When I opened my wechat, my son’s face appeared / came on.

“Baby, why are you not sleeping, it’s so late,” I said. My son didn’t say anything. I saw his two eyes filled with tears.

My mother said “He misses you and wants to video call you. He will go to sleep after he sees you.”

My son asked me “Mom, where are you?”

Suddenly my heart was soft，I wanted to give him a hug immediately. I saw his little face, he didn’t want me to see that he was crying, so he wiped his tears away. When I told him I will go to Nanjing and bring him back to Shanghai this weekend, he nodded and laid down on the bed…
I often thought babies are too young, they must not have many emotions. I was wrong, they miss their parents, they don’t want to leave their parents.
