Writing exercise

According to my experience, people are always chasing what they lost in their childhood. Why am I still studying English? Because my job need to use it, it’s true, but the deeply reason is that I always think I should have had learnt it better when I was a student. If you wanted to be spoiled when you were a kid but nobody spoiled you, 9 of 10, you would always seek for the feeling of being loved. If you wanted to make choices for yourself when you were a kid, but your parents didn’t let you, you would always seek for independence. The unfulfilled desire is always with you till it’s completed fulfilled.

According to my experience, people are always chasing (chasing after = more native) what they lost in their childhood. Why am I still studying English? I need to speak English for my job, it’s true, but the deeper reason is that I always think I should have had studied harder when I was a student. If you wanted to be spoiled when you were a kid but nobody spoiled you, 9 out of 10, you would always seek for the feeling of being loved. If you wanted to make choices for yourself when you were a kid, but your parents didn’t let you, you would always seek for independence. An unfulfilled desire is always with you till it’s completed fulfilled.
