Writing exercise

I got up late yesterday morning, then had dumplings for lunch home.In the afternoon, I hang out with my friends. Tomorrow morning, I am going to play soccer with my teammates. I am about to do some cleaning home tomorrow afternoon, after doing it,I must be very tired. So I decide to go to bed early and I wish I have a good dream during the all night.

I got up late yesterday morning and then had dumplings for lunch at home. In the afternoon, I hung out with my friends which was really fun / boring / enjoyable. Tomorrow morning, I am going to play soccer with my teammates, and I’m really looking forward to it. I am about to do some cleaning at home tomorrow afternoon, and I think that after doing it, I will (definitely) be very tired. So I decided to go to bed early tonight and I hope I have a good dream during night.

From the teacher

Hi there, thanks so much for your writing – it was really interesting hearing about your days and what you are doing with your friends.

So, about your English – I think your vocabulary and sentence logic are both really good! You used some pretty advanced sentences which tells me that you understand English grammar quite well and maybe have had some experience with native speakers, maybe watching TV shows in English etc. I think you could add some details to your short sentences using “which, who, because, and, but…” etc.. this would help your sentences to feel more complete. Some of your vocabulary is a little chinglish so I will help you with these in some of my future videos. You’re doing well though so keep it up!

Great job!
