Adoption-when you want someone to take you and raise you or take care of you.

e.g. That couple couldn’t have kids so they chose adoption instead.

Pension-  the money someone gets every month when they retire.

e.g. He receives a 2000 rmb pension every month.

Annual check-up/Physical –when you go to the doctor to check if you have any health problems.

e.g. this year I had my annual check up and my doctor said I had some stomach problems.
