I have been worked at a swedish company for more than 4 years as a general manager assistant. My day job like help the manager to search the info from the internet or do some report for him and also go to some govt. department to communicate with the govt. people or do the report for at the Swedish.

My hobby is I like to listen to the music and watch movies also American tv series and sports like basketball but not good at it. During my leisure time, I often go to a cafe or park chat with my friends or have afternoon tea like this.

Why I’m here because I want to speak like a native. I can speak, I can communicate but sometimes it’s not really exactly the mean. The general mean we can know but the exact no. But I want to speak more fluently, like native.

My daily responsibilities / duties / tasks are like helping the manager search information from online (the internet) or doing some reports for him and the CEO in Sweden, also going to some govt. departments to communicate with officials.

I like to listen to pop music and watch movies also American tv series like The Good Wife. Actually, I’m watching a British series and I just watched a Spanish suspense film. I like sports like basketball but I’m not good at it. During my days off / weekends / free time,  I often go to a cafe or park, chat / talk / catch up with my friends or have afternoon tea or something like this.

Why are you here? I’m here because I want to speak like a native. I can speak, I can communicate but sometimes it’s not really exactly what I want to say / it’s not really exactly what I mean. We can know the general meaning but not exactly/ the exact meaning. But I want to speak more fluently, like a native.

Vocabulary

eg. Off the top of my head, I can’t remember any of your small pronunciation mistakes.
eg. Off the top of my head, I don’t remember when my friend’s daughter’s birthday is.

suspense n. – the feeling of excitement or nervousness that you have when you are waiting for something to happen and are uncertain about what it is going to be

It’s trendy (adj) or trending (v)  = It’s recently popular

even if…. = used to say that if something is the case or not, the result is the same
eg. Even if they are not native, they are better than me.

I’m not really enjoy it. – I don’t really enjoy it.  = I’m not really in to it. 

Grammar

help sb do sth *** you don’t need to say “help sb to do sth”

I’m not doing sth = I am (not) doing sth
