Speaking exercise

Last year / in 2017 I went to / I took a trip to / went on a study trip to / went on holidays to singapore for a short term / 1 year stay, this was the third time I have been to Singapore, people who live there / the natives / Malaysians / the locals are really / incredibly / amazingly / super friendly / kind / warm / nice / open / giving and they speak mandarin / they are bilingual but / however / although they have some different accents / there’s a difference in the way they sound / speak which is Singlish, and their mandarin is also a bit weird / strange / odd / peculiar, but we don’t have difficulty communicating with each other…
