Vocabulary

Bunny (n): 1- rabbit.
E.g.: On Easter, children believe that the Easter Bunny brings them chocolate eggs.

Documentary (n): 1-  a film or television or radio program that gives facts and information about a real subject.
E.g.: The documentary took a fresh look at the life of Darwin.
E.g.: They showed a documentary on animal communication.

Driven (adj): 1-  Someone who is driven is so determined to achieve something or be successful that all of their behavior is directed towards this aim.
E.g.: Rachel is a very driven person, so I’m sure she will succeed.

Disorder (n): 1-  an illness of the mind or body:
E.g.: The family have a history of mental disorder.

Obsession (n): 1-  something or someone that you think about all the time. (adj: Obsessed)
E.g.: He has an obsession with cleanliness.
E.g.: He’s obsessed with this new project.
E.g.: She’s obsessed with chocolate. (not a real obsession, just a figure of speech)

Compulsive (adj): 1- doing something a lot and unable to stop doing it.
E.g.: He sought (p. to seek) treatment for his compulsive drinking.
E.g.: He’s a compulsive shopper and he needs to stop before he goes bankrupt.

Bankrupt (adj): 1- unable to pay what you owe, and having had control of your financial matters given, by a law court (法庭), to a person who sells your property to pay your debts. 2- [informal] having no money 3- [disapproving] not having any good qualities.
E.g.: The crisis has led to many small businesses going bankrupt.
E.g.: I’ll go bankrupt if you kids keep asking me for money!
E.g.: He believes that modern society is morally bankrupt.
