Q: Why did you pick HK?
A: I’ve decided my major at once, it’s about pedagogy. Then I began to search the university, according to their ranks. And I’m proud that there are so many prestigious universities in HK. I searched the majors and I’m very interested in Eng language education and TESOL. But I have already been an Eng teacher for five years, but what I need most is about theories in education, so I chose Eng Lang education, which is a more theoretical course and I believe I can make the best use of this precious one year and turn out to be more professional teacher after this year’s study.

A: When thinking about studying abroad/furthering my studies/my prospect post-grad studies, I decided on my major at once/I didn’t hesitate to make my decision – it’s pedagogy. Then I began to search up different universities, according to their ranks for this major. And I’m glad that there are so many prestigious universities here in HK, because it’s closer to home. I searched up different majors related/under pedagogy and I’m very interested in Eng language education and TESOL. I have already been an Eng teacher for five years, what I think I need the most to complement my experience are theories in education, so I chose Eng Lang education, which is a more theoretical course and I believe I can make the best use of this precious one year and grow into a more professional teacher after this year’s study.
